The new update is terrible. So complicated to know your way around. It needs a catalogue just to Know how to get to where want. The notifications doesnt work properly. You cant open links in safari or any other browser. Your stuck in this terrible app forever

The latest update unnecessarily harder to use than before. Before the layout was very similar to the website with each section clearly marked and the default page being the classes page. When Im signed up for several different classes that use piazza, there are tens of erroneous posts made per hour so the activity feed is usually too frustrating to sort through to be useful. It would be nice to choose which page is your starting page. Also, on the individual class pages, pinned posts vs regular posts are as clearly separated as they were before. I have to look a lot harder to skip over the pinned posts Ive seen a hundred times and find the new posts Im actually looking for. Overall a big step backward in terms of functionality with the latest update. Update: search functionality just breaks the app now..

With this new design the app is slower and harder to navigate. I hope an update solve it. Now I have to open my computer anytime I want to enter in piazza

While I enjoy the new iOS 7/8 redesign, functionality is pretty weak. You cannot hide old classes without deleting them in the default "all activity" tab. Navigating is quick, but somehow not very intuitive. Definitely not a substitute for the desktop web app, but will work in a pinch. I guess I just wish the app worked more like an email app with folders for each class, and intuitive navigating. Overall: nice looking and usable, but needs improvement to be able to replace the desktop web app.

Why display activities from past inactive courses on the “All Activity” tab?? And why isn’t there a button to clear all new notifications in “All Activity” tab?? So annoying when they are all old events!

As someone else posted here, the new version is terrible. The old version looked exactly like the website. The new one is more difficult to use, its poorly organized and it has lag issues. If the Piazza people read this or if they care about reviews, please please please go back to the old version

This new version is terrible. It feels like Im scrolling down a news feed. Im automatically brought to "all activity" so the posts from each class are mixed together. I have to press "classes" then select the class I want in order to see the posts from just that class. In general, it is hard to read and it feels unorganized. Bring the old version back!!

Good improvements. Its easier to navigate than it was before. Keep it up!

I use the web app a lot but when Im on the move this app serves its purpose by letting me browse questions as well as post new content. Now I have access to the course page and resources on the go!

This new design works like an app should. Pumped for this update.

Clean app- would be have as productive without it.

I like the new apps cleaner design. The push notifications are a HUGE plus, super helpful when Im waiting for an answer to one of my questions

As a student, it helps a lot, especially because most of the work we do is learned at home. I hate the new update because you cant post a picture at a student answer. My class uses this solely to get extra credit, but if you look at it in an altruistic perspective (like my teacher) it helps the class to clarify over topics. The reason Im only giving 3 stars is because of the update. ~a precalculus student

Please go back to the old version from last year. The new activity view is awful if you have a very large class as there is always constant activity. But, finding the typical class Q&A view is sometimes a pain and you must do it everytime you open the app as it always opens to the activity view. Also, it is quite buggy. I have had multiple times where I type the response as an instructor to only have it not be saved. Piazza is supposed to make it easier, but this version of the app is actually making it harder. Please fix. Until then, I guess I will be logging on to the website on my phone.

The recent update fixed some bugs but I just caught another one where every time I go back from a piazza post, it will take Me to the top of all the threads instead of where I was reading. I had to scroll down every time to get back to where I was. Please fix.

Its taken a little while to get to this point, but the app is finally fast, nicely laid out, and easy to use.

Really helpful to have mobile access to this. New update removes option to view all course posts in a single stream, which is obnoxious, so the clunky navigation gets it two stars. At least provide the option instead of removing it completely.

Old version was easier to navigate the single stream with the option of the alternate stream. What was wrong with that? Its not horrible but definitely not better.

Issues Ive run into: Sometimes the text box just disappears when Im editing a comment, so that I cant edit the text anymore unless I start over again, leaving me with the dilemma of either deleting everything or submitting my half-baked reply. This usually happens after I change settings for the post. I dont think anyone in their right mind will go through the painful steps of copying everything into the clipboard, just in case the app suddenly goes bonkers.
